Repair as a Practice of Seeing
Early 2027
An invitation to consider repair not as an endpoint, but as a practice: a way of attending to what has been fractured, caring for what remains, and imagining what can still be made possible.
Inner Calm, Outer Connection
Past exhibition
Through the eyes of eight female photographers in Mogadishu, the exhibition captures the places, people and spaces they hold dear, revealing deeply personal stories and emotions.
Shaping Peace Together
Past exhibition
Marking the International Day of Peace on 21 September, this exhibition reflects on our shared longing for peace and the power of human connection to inspire hope for a more peaceful world.
The Somali Arts Foundation (SAF) is the first contemporary art institution in Somalia.
SAF seeks to promote and create conducive environments for the creative industries to flourish in Somalia, while leveraging the arts to ignite critical discourses around ideas on identity, memory, loss, healing and what it means to be a “Soomaali” person in the 21st Century.
